How to Pronounce Qatar?
I tried to both Goggle and search FlyerTalk, but there were too many items under "Qatar", so ....

Is Qatar pronounced "cutter", "ka-tar", or "kat-ar"? I have heard people pronounce it all these (and other) ways. I tried an Arabic dictionary, but just got lost.

Does it sound different than it is spelled? I had, in the past, called it "ka-tar" with emphasis on the second syllable; was I wrong?
