You should have stayed 2 night in SVG. You have missed important tourist attractions like the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag and the three big swards. You also missed the nice nightlife in SVG. But I hope that you liked the city. It is a business city.

This thread caught my eye as I am thinking of where to go in early May 2015 over the UK bank holiday weekend. I think your post barca82 has just convinced be that it should be Stavanger, so I'll take your advice and come for two nights. I was in Olso and Tromsø back in January and really enjoyed my time both in terms of the landscape and the people, so it would be nice to explore a bit more of the country.
