Couple of things here. Firstly, stamps in passports are only indicators. You could renew your passport, lose your passport, etc, while travelling. Yes, it could cause delay in an extreme circumstance, but otherwise, nobody cares. Secondly, all of Europe is connected now to the same border crossing database (SIS II), so regardless of where you cross, if your passport is scanned, you were logged.
