Checked in yesterday , booked a 1 bed suite for 1 night and bogof cheapest room . Initially given a one bed suite with full sea view on 1st floor (non refurb suite). After speaking to the assistant manager i asked for a higher floor and was moved to a signature suite - uma thurman in 7th floor which is fully refurbished. Very very impressed, will post pictures later.
Did you have to press for this or was the manager willing to upgrade?
Last year I was there the FD staff were not so friendly. They didn't restock my mini bar and when I asked for water and they added it onto the room service bill and I had to insist it be taken off the bill.
They didn't seem to really care about RAs at all
