One recent one for me coming into SIN on an SQ A330. There was a localised thunderstorm across the runway. We were maybe 50 feet or so off the runway, all looking normal, then the sudden roar of the engines as we abort and go around for another go. No comment from the crew for several minutes but in these circumstances I'd rather they piloted the aircraft than chatted to us...
