I have stayed at the IC Bali ( as an RA) and the new HIX in Kuta. With so many hotels to choose from with beautiful villas ( around $200-$300) with own pool or small villas with own pool ( around $120 ) I dont think you need to stay in these IHG properties.

I had this beautiful 450 sqm villa with large pool for just $280 last May and I dont think any IHG property will compare to this even the IC which cost around $150-$200.

As for the HIX in Kuta which is about $60 I just stayed there for6 hours on my way to the airport. Its new but it is small but it is walking distance to Kuta center.

Dont waste your points in bali the hotels are not expensive and if you really wanted to enjoy the Holiday with the Kids get the Private villas for just $280 ( you need two rooms anyway in an IHG property).
