I really think BA were trying to highlight the stringent standards required to get in (so why are so many CC rubbish?). In my view they have demonstrated they are not a very good employer, and have backward HR policies.
Don't forget that Jodie is a person with hopes and dreams, and it is dreadful for any person to have them destroyed publicly. I feel for the poor girl.
A little more investment in her development would have been expected from an employer like BA. Shame on them.
Whilst I completely get your points, I'm sure Jodi would have had to give permission to be filmed and knew that if she was not going to make it through the course, it would be shown, as it would if she has passed.
Also, I'm sure had she passed the course, BA would have invested more in her development, they will only do that if a person comes through, same as any employer will likely only invest in an employees development once they have passed the selection process or their probationary period. Unfortunately Jodi didn't do either.
