No, and hopefully not. CX should exert its 'dominance' power and have all its flights (and codeshare partners' flights) depart from the main terminal, and leave the outlying inconvenience to the competitors.

on the contrary, I think it is very much about HX as well. The main HK-based competitor for CX is HX, and the separation of their operations make a lot of sense. Just like what many other airports do with splitting alliances between terminals, or like in LHR with VS in T3 and BA in T5.
I wouldd believe there will be a lounge for CX at mid field (the one opposite to T1 now, opening in next year or 2) as its a natural extension of current T1

For the new terminal associated with 3rd runway, I guess it will depend how HKG handle the flight. If CX plane will only get assigned to the main complex then I cant see why they will need a lounge at the new terminal.
