I personally will be going with 2kids and I actually booked the group tour with tour-beijing.com to Mutianyu and Ming tombs and personally the shopping does not bother me either and we have plenty of time but I think it is a matter of choice as this was a good price and with 2 kids I just think I will enjoy more this way.
