I'm not a road warrior by this definition. I fly almost exclusively TATL in upgraded C (occasionally F, and once in a long while in Y) and am very happy with the UA hard product and reasonably happy with the soft product. But I know it's the unhappiness of the road warriors who can bring an airline down, and I'd like to help stop the hemorrhaging if I can.
I support of idea of raising public awareness wherever possible, including full page ads, personal letters to the directors - anything that will raise the alarm besides the financial results which don't yet well indicate the inevitable downward trend.
I think the public is aware of how bad United has become, which is one of the reasons I don't think an ad is the right move. Probably the best way to affect change is to convince the institutional investors that they should be worried about UA losing a massive amount of business. Ultimately they control the Board.
Think about the "United Breaks Guitars" video. These types of things raise public awareness, but the people running companies don't really act because of them, they're just minor nuisances.
