Hilton Vancouver (Burnaby) Metrotown vs Surrey/Langley Hampton Inn
I will be attending a medical conference later this week; it takes place at the Sheraton (Surrey) Guildford.
Being a Hilton (Gold) member, it is to my advantage to stay at a Hilton family of hotels.
I will have a car (by the way, can one go from the Hilton Metrotown to the Sheraton Surrey Guildford by light rapid transit (Sky Link))? Is the transit time from the 2 hotels to/from the Sheraton Hotel (during rush hour traffic) comparable?
How do you compare the 2 hotels? I would not worry if the room charges at the Hilton Hotel are more than the Hampton Inn.
How is the lounge at the hotel (is it open on weekends).
I understand from the sticky thread, that continental breakfast for Gold members is free?, and an upgrade to a full hot buffet is for a nominal charge.
