One word of caution -- beware of rooms ending in 13! I'm not superstitious, but the xx13 room I was initially assigned to was really a cave -- the way it's laid out, there's one smallish and awkwardly placed window in the living room, and none at all in the bedroom. Fortunately they weren't too full, so they were able to accommodate a change to a xx06 room that's much, much better.

I think the xx13 room may be a "2 room suite" and the xx06 a "2 room executive suite" -- given that the cost difference is only $10, I'd definitely pay for the better room next time.
Just thought I'd drop in to confirm that the xx13 rooms are not as spacious as the others. They are very long and skinny.

We were just there last week and were assigned room 1113. The only other room available was the one closest to the breakfast dining room, and that wouldn't work for our kids (too noisy). Also, the weird layout actually ended up working out for us, as we put one kid on the couch and the other kid around the corner in the kitchenette area in his travel crib. Our younger kid will climb out of his crib and climb in bed with his brother when they share a room while traveling. Super cute, but he ends up waking up his brother by sitting on him and vigorously patting him on the head. Having Big Brother out of his view helped both boys sleep more soundly. Also, having just the small window helped them to sleep a little better, I think. It is also really tucked away in a very low-traffic part of the hotel.

So it's not without a few advantages. But for most, the conventional room layouts will be much preferred.

For families, our room had the weird french door-style doors that push into place with a bit of a racket, and there's a big crack down the middle that lets light and sound through. Why do they do that? The whole point of choosing a hotel with suites that have two separate rooms is that they are *separate*.

I really did love the hotel overall, though and would recommend it highly to others coming to Fort Worth. All the staff went out of their way for the guests. I don't know what they do for employee training, but it really works!
