I understand why you're feeling burned, but I beg to disagree. A 60-minute check-in policy for international flights is neither unreasonable nor unusual. Just because your company booked the ticket doesn't mean you don't have the personal responsibility to know the policies of the airline you're flying.

Most importantly, I think that Virgin Atlantic has the best premium cabin to and from London, from the airport experience, onboard, and after arrival. Saying that they are "the absolute worst" is the direct opposite of my personal, repeated experience.
