Now if you cannot float the money it can be a great burden no doubt. There is no one who reads these boards that doesn't know they do not like what we do and will shut you down eventually.
We also know they will refund the money within a few months.
This is known.
Well I do not accept "within a few months" and unless you are insane, nor should you or anyone here. Yeah we KNOW that is how it is--we MSers know and have to often do many things, like how when you go to WMT you sometimes just have to keep your head down and maybe even allow the clerk to fill in that form in the binder book that they insist upon for THEIR security, even though we have no idea where it is being kept in the store and whether OUR information is secure once we leave.
But we shouldn't have to accept waiting for our funds for so long.
Again, the key points - the main gripes include the following... Tell me if YOU think you are really actually OK with these not being dealt with:
-that Bancorp holds funds for weeks and often months. And all along, they come up with new ways to tell the customer they have to wait longer. System down, more ID needed, some specialist handling your case is not there today to deal with the issue, some information you gave was not complete, etc.
-the company refuses to give out anything other than a FIRST NAME and this gives NO accountability for us whatsoever.
-they arbitrarily invent reasons and terms after the fact. If you do use their card in a way they don't like it, you get your card shut and funds are held. It's a crap shoot to see if and when this will happen, and in some cases, a person doesn't even have to ever use it yet! They do the first load and BOOM, the card is already locked up. Such instances have been brought up in this thread and elsewhere in FT, etc. Either way, you follow what you think are the rules and you do what you think the card allows only to find out the hard way that some gal named Mindy or Megan thinks you abused their product and that's why they are shutting you down. You ask where in the TCs what you did was not allowed and they push you off like a third world peasant as the land lord drives through.

It says a "reasonable time" but who knows how long THAT is!
And are you gonna send in your actual card to them? I can see sending in a copy of it (and being given proper, up to date and 2014 provisions for doing this, such as scanning to PDF, etc or the use of a company FTP, etc).
