Now that I've been granted temporary Diamond status with Hyatt, and will have a few paid stays under my belt very soon, will any of the other hotel chains match my Hyatt Diamond Status, e.g. Hilton Diamond (rather than the Gold I presently have), Club Carlson (if they have a status higher than Gold), and other major hotel chains? Am already Platinum with IHG, but I've heard one must purchase their highest status (Ambassador)--is that so?

Any other chains I've left out who might match my Hyatt Diamond status? Nothing on the Hyatt web site indicates the status is temporary...

Also, will any airlines match my Hyatt Diamond status? I have no Elite status with any of the major airlines at present. So this would be great to get a match.
