I had a somewhat fruitful shop for pre-ordered games.

I visited my local Extra, chose 4 different games for 2 machines and proceeded to the self service checkout. Rang them through, the helper verified my age (sadly without having to ask for proof) and I paid. My receipt was printed, but no £5 pre-paid vouchers appeared.

The helper sent me to customer services who were unable to reprint the £5 vouchers and agreed (after some deliberation) that I was not attempting to obtain multiple £5 vouchers.

The only option they could offer was a £20 gift card for the £20 paid. After 15 minutes, I was 2020 cc points richer for a spend of £0. Result.
