The fact that they're using some jargon instead of telling us exactly how they will prioritize elites ("elites will enjoy priority over other bids at the same level," "elites will be prioritized as if their bids were 10% higher" or whatever) says to me that in reality elites will get no discernible benefit at all.

Elsewhere on the FAQ site it says bid upgrades will receive AsiaMiles at the upgraded cabin level. Doesn't specify whether this is true for Club miles, too.

The whole thing smacks of poor conception and hasty execution. The FAQ site is in only moderately literate English. You'd think they could do better.
Likely they still not make up their mind yet... They currently have no idea how much more (or less ) a DM, GO or SL will pay versus others... Probably the bid put in this trial period will give them idea how to "prioritize" MPC... Say if GO is consistently pay 15% more than DM, after trial extra bonus value granted for ranking may be 10%... But to maximize cash revenue likely it will only be use for tie-break... Why accept a DM's offer with less cash instead of a SL's offer with more cash?

The original fare class at which the ticket has been purchased
So likely they will compare the total amount instead of just offer price... i.e. If you are getting a V ticket you are unlikely to win an offer unless you offer a nearly max price...

p.s. Quite interested in what will be max offer price cap by CX... Price difference between J / W and E / V?
