I've been to the Copenhagen one. I'm assuming this one in Japan isn't something completely different that coincidentally has the same name.
The answer is no, it's not worth it. In terms of ingredient quality (superb ingredient quality does not equate superb taste) and chef's technique, there's no competition. But the food just isn't worth the money. I appreciate good food. It doesn't matter if the cow was treated like a king when it was alive or if it was treated like every other cow, if the steak tastes good, it tastes good. Appreciating a dish more just because the ingredients are better when you can't taste the difference is nothing but hype. Go to Eleven Madison Park in NY and get something just as good for half the cost.
As with all things, the marginal cost get higher and higher and the marginal return gets less and less the better it gets. At some point, it's just not worth the money.
