Not willing to reconsider UA now that a $70K spend would bring in 770,000 Mileage Plus miles? Surely has to be a significant amount of miles than you would have brought in before. UA has to be thinking they can lure both DL and AA flyers with those kind of miles in play, regardless of some of the side issues like upgrades or customer service. Miles can be a powerful motivator.
I actually will end up better with this but I DO NOT LIKE IT. The writing is on the wall. They will continue to devalue this program more and more going forward. It won't be long till you are the one getting screwed over.
