As a GM, EC would only be free on the domestic legs; 50% discount. DL seems to accommodate one companion on a different PNR, but I would not expect more than that.

International gets one free checked bag even with no status. Getting a check in agent to accommodate additional bags for pax on different PNRs but traveling with you may vary.
