Case in point, the ZRH mistake fare a couple years ago; $239 AI, RT ex. JFK. DL had a 25K bonus for the new JFK-ZRH route as well as a 100% general US-EU bonus plus medallion bonus. All stackable. I netted north of 50k for that one.

That will no longer be possible come 1/1/15
