Elsewhere on the FAQ site it says bid upgrades will receive AsiaMiles at the upgraded cabin level. Doesn't specify whether this is true for Club miles, too.

The whole thing smacks of poor conception and hasty execution. The FAQ site is in only moderately literate English. You'd think they could do better.
