Lol, the TLV departure T1F is because of the 1972 Olympics???

LH can't check you in for AB flights, they don't have access to their systems. They can book you a ticket on AB due to the interline, but checkin needs to be done with AB. Swissport in BRU definitely wouldn't have been able to do anything but send a SITA telex to AB in MUC, which they did, otherwise AB would not have been expecting you.

EU261 claim needs to be raised with LO as they triggered the chain of events.
