after some advice from the collective. I'm looking at going to San Sebastien (EAS) later this year using my Avios. At the moment I am seeing the following in biz class.

on ba.com
LHR-MAD-EAS 24000avios / £115

or as singles for same flights
LHR-MAD 15000 / £25 (becomes an RFS)
MAD-EAS 9000 / £18

on iberia.com
LHR-MAD-EAS 24000 avios / 98 euro


If I were to book two singles, is it possible to get them linked in any way and save myself 60 quid? I will be checking in a bike to my final destination and want to avoid paying IB the extra baggage fees for a bike if I have to collect in MAD and recheck.
