I'm not so sure about the "IT" fare code from the information above. Though, my ticket has been through hell and back with changes (4 freaking changes to be exact).

I currently have a ticket I booked directly from Delta from a flight departing CTA (Catania Italy) this Saturday heading back to the US - it has an IT fare code on it. Being I'm departing from Italy, I assumed IT was short for "Italian Taxes"! It is in Q class. Maybe someone pulled some strings to keep costs low in Delta as this was originally a T class fare that had to be rebooked due to a trip extension (did I mention 4 times)! I'll be a bit cheezed if I only get a fraction of the 5000+ miles! The outbound legs were in an L class and I got full MQM credit for that portion of the journey.

The only reason I remember this is because there was a massive error in my original IT code - over $1000! I called Delta back when I saw that on the ticket - do the folks in IT a good hour to figure that one out! See my last receipt below:
