cpfc I understand totally what you are saying

The galileo system shows Y0 and "FLIGHT DETAILS CHANGED - CONTACT CARRIER" on the screen. The flight before mine is J0 YO and two of the six flights up to noon have the contact carrier info listed. Mine is one of them.

I understand how it might seem a little petty but given AC's problems lately I'm not taking the chance of an aircraft change and someone in operations just saying tough. I will take like 2 maybe 3 minutes to secure a seat and thats it. It's not like I'm trying to change an itinerary for later travel, which I do need to do but won't be doing it tonight.

Also, when I view my booking on-line at AC it only shows my first and last segment and none of the ones in between. Between not seeing my flight listed on my itinerary and the "contact carrier" info I'm not willing to take the chance

I have seen passengers get upgraded while SE/E sit in the back during regular operations. I'm not prepared to leave this to chance given the magnitude of the problem of trying to get out of YYZ tomorrow.

I hope I don't seem quite as shallow now that there is some more background info
