Also for anyone posting info, for AA flyers are these US metal flights booked as AA codeshare flights or US flights. Does anyone know if it even matters? My guess is it doesn't since AA's email announcement didn't differentiate.

I purchased a USAir Flight # and entered my AA FF#. In checking-in today I was offered (and selected) the upgrade.
