"as long as the carry-on bag fits comfortably in the sizer without being forced"
Those baggage check paper weights may be within dimensions but given they're solid metal, no one can check a carry-on without "forcing" it in. Not every bag is a perfect square. Like I stated earlier, duffle bags may appear big but they compress if they're not full. With this comical sentence they essentially rule out any bag that isn't a perfect square. Perhaps the AA gestapo should chose our bags for us. And to be completely honest, I wouldn't even use AA if I didn't have so many miles to redeem. Seems I ought to use them rather quickly considering their nose dive in customer service. I'm sure most of you have flown regional low cost european airlines like Wizz and Ryan. The major US airlines are literally diving to their levels on baggage. It's almost time for a new congressional law to stop these slime ball tactics. Laughable.
