I myself really dont like the merger with US air, been with AA since 88.
What I am not looking foward to are the following:

1. Once the merger is complete, with limited use of SWU on international now
available, just add another group of flyers to that mix. (granted there are more choices now with US air hubs, but who knows how long they will last

2. With AA offering some pretty generous status match to other program's
again, the way I see it is, less chance of upgrades, SWU, crowded AC (as if there are not busy enough already)

3. I can see CS suffer at all levels, longer wait times on hold, less award seats available and possible lack of decent staff.


Nothing personal , but with all the uncertainity of what is happening in the Air travel industry recently
(UA/DL) I just wonder how long the AA that I have enjoyed over the last
26 years or so is going to last.
