People forget DL did this last year, and this year DL is making profit lol. Everyone talks and talks, and nobody does anything.
UA's lost me - and before this change - to AA. DL and AA having been making improvements in service quality. UA has been making cuts. AA gives me mostly mainline on the routes I fly. UA gives me a whole lot of RJs.
Even if AA goes to a revenue based model - the flying experience is better than on UA. Same for DL. That's why I switched. That's why others in my situation will switch. That's what SMI/J and you seem to be missing.
We'll see what Parker does to AA...but I know the reasons I switched, and this unfortunate change only adds to it.
