Sounds like you can do 4 nights fairly easily. If your shoes are flats, they would likely fit the spaces between the handle on the back of the bag pretty well. Are you in the same spot all 4 nights? Especially if so, and even if not, I'd highly recommend the Eagle Creek Pack-It Folder 15 and Cube approach to packing for this bag.
