Fare bucket inventories - how do they open up?

Hi FT-

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere - tried searching, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Anyways, I'm looking at flights for the end of July going LAX-ALB RT. Normally this far out (6 weeks or so) the TXV fares are open and ready to go. But right now, all I'm able to find are L fares for an outrageous price (>$700 for economy within the US!).

I signed up for an ExpertFlyer trial and looked at the fare classes available. It shows U0 T0 X0 V0. What I'm wondering is - does this mean that there *were* fares available in these buckets and they've all been taken (and won't reopen unless someone cancels) or that DL has not yet released these inventories and if I hold out, they will?

I'll buy it if I have to, but that's a non-trivial percentage of my yearly income to go visit family, so I want to make sure I'm not going to have buyer's remorse in two weeks.

Cheers!
