I was just at the launch event for the new HKG service where a bonus miles promo was announced. I was unfortunately in the midst of a conversation with someone from AA when it was announced, so I didn't catch the full details, but it's up to 25,000 bonus miles per roundtrip (I believe this was for premium cabin tickets) and it applies to both the new Hong Kong and the new Shanghai services. I imagine we'll see details posted on AA.com soon. I may be at the Shanghai launch event tomorrow night, in which case I'll pay closer attention to the bonus miles offer and post details here.
