I have a one-way booking to travel to Italy (LHR-BLQ) in Economy. I usually book a return ticket but this time I am flying back via Germany, it was easier to book the return on a separate ticket. There was the usual 'limited offer' for a POUG in 'Manage my Booking', only this time I had to call the 'local commercial office'.
The person I talked to mentioned 'error fare' more often than 'limited offer'. The whole thing took almost half an hour and hopefully I shall receive an e-mail in the next 48 hours.
What happened to online POUG ? Is this a permanent 'enhancement' or is this a 'blip' ?
No problems in principle but it took an absurd amount of time as the person who took my call had to 'seek authorisation' once he established availability. Also, by now I am used to on line booking and the idea of waiting 48 hours makes me uneasy (Typical modern first world problem
