Jeff Smisek several times this past week has laid negative comments against PMUA, aka the REAL United.

Jeff said at an investor conference last week that the mechanics were not properly maintaining the PMUA fleet, and specifically called out the 747 fleet, calling them "unreliable"

He then today proceeded to blame the financial troubles on the airline on "inadequate training of employees by the old United", again further implying inferiority to United and superiority to Continental.

It is blatantly obvious he has absolutely ZERO respect for United, its employees, its history, its accomplishments, anything. He gleefully chucked away everything from United -the Tulip, Apollo, the "over-entitling" Mileage Plus awards, 3 cabin, free IFE, Channel 9- that he could get away with. And it is well known that United the name stayed only because of Glenn Tilton.

These public statements only further reinforce a belief that he's said many of these things in private the past 4 years.

To all you REAL United employees out there, I raise my glass, okay plastic cup because Jeff took away glass, to you. Keep your chins up, because there are many of us who will not let the great United Airlines fade away.
