There is Holiday Inn Express and Premier Inn opposite T3 however its not possible to walk there, shuttles are provided by the hotel. A few minutes walk from the hotels is a metro station linked to the Emirates HQ (which incidentally has an Emirates Shop on level2 open to the public).

If you were to stay near Burj Khalifa, its an easy 20min/30aed taxi ride away or you could ride the metro aswell.
