Agree.

And if flying ex-LA, if AS is offering a reasonable price, check out the companion certificate with the BoA Credit Card. Its $99+taxes for the companion, quite reasonable. AS doesn't fly n/s to Hawaii from LA though so you'll have to trek to SAN, or make a connection.
