Interisland it is usually about 20 minutes out. Just checked, and the online check-in and passbook have 25-min prior noted, but the counter check-in boarding pass at ITO has 20-min prior noted. These times have evolved; it used to say 40–50 min prior (plane often not at gate), and when I asked, was told it was a programming issue.

Haven't been on enough mainland/international HA flights to respond re: those flights.
