A question to those of you who use cable ties as luggage locks....

Surely you need something sharp to cut the tie with when you reach your destination? Where does that go? Can't go in the bag, as it's locked. Can't go with you on the aircraft as it's a dangerous weapon.

How do you get around this?

No problem sealing the bag for the return, it's the outbound that puzzles me.
