Saw this in the wiki:
You can not use a Challenge to requalify for, or regain, status. Contrary to some earlier posts, there is no further "soft landing" to the next lower level of status; the 100% bonus miles is no longer earned on the flight one qualifies on.
OP was Plat until the end of February. Now OP is Gold. OP can't do a challenge to get back to Plat.
