Checked in at XMN and agent checked bags hkg and then syd. But they could not issue a boarding pass for hkg to syd. For me the hkg syd flight was qf on different ticket. But for my friend it was same ticket. A request for the supervisor did not help. Apparently they can not issue boarding passes across airlines even if they are both are one world and on same ticket. Is this common problem for ka/cx ? In the end the flight was over an hour late so did not have to wait long in hkg for QF counter to open.
