Alrighty, so upon checkin at Miami - Business Class line - the agent told me I shouldn't be there and I should be in the Economy line. That immediately tells me something didn't update in AA showing Priority Access / MVP Gold status.

Now long story short I missed the cut off for my flight, and ended up booking a whole new ticket while she was searching for a way to Seattle today. I mentioned I'd just use miles and grab the noon Chicago flight - her response was "wow, that's going to be expensive and all the fees" - to which I smiled and said "no, I'm high tier at Alaska and don't have to deal with that stuff." She was shocked when I purchased a new ticket home for only 12,500 miles.

She said THAT booking did show Priority Access, but refused to put the tags on my bag. Oh well. I didn't want to argue or be a DYKWIA pain in butt.
