I was baffled, have never seen it before (there or at any other MTR gate for that matter). I can understand that the early checkin in town is attractive, but people buy an air-ticket for several thousands and then cheat the gates to save a measly 60HK$?

Out of curiosity, has such behaviour become common in HK?

And what is an offender facing if caught?
