The annoying thing is that they say wait two weeks for a decision. I know I can call but they are so rude for no reason. This pending bs happened with the SW cards too. I hate being interrogated when my clear credit history is evidence that I'm a safe bet. Makes me not want any Chase products.
I totally understand your frustration. Your credit history, and an app for a mere Freedom card?
But still, 5X points for bonused spend and no AF is a sweet deal. Either give them a call, go thru the drill, and get that card approved. Or just wait, it probably won't be 2 weeks. I've gotten a "wait 30 days" message before, called in right away, and been told I had already been approved. Part of the 2 weeks is the time for either a card or a denial to reach you thru the USPS.
