I was also thinking about paying for Spotify on my phone & streaming music but guess coverage may be an issue in some areas? Any other options I may have missed?

Thanks for any advice!

Personally I tend to have the Sirius when I rent - but that's my personal choice especially for road trips.

As for spotify, this is a really good option if you just want music - I use spotify and have the premium service at approx $15.00/month in the UK. This also allows you to download the music to your smart phone/ pad. Ideal for areas with poor coverage and if your memory card is big enough you can download a lot of music - certainly better than paying for Sirius for 3 weeks
