Hi All,

I made a reservation for a 2 week rental, Minivan (sigh, I know, but its so practical ) class code SVMR. Price was just under $1000.

Now, I saw on their site that they can charge up to three times the rental amount as a deposit on your card, which would be $3000. Is that accurate for this car class?

I do not carry a huge limit on my card, so $3000 hold would take up a good chunk of that on the first day of a two week trip where i may need to use the card quite a bit

Any insight into the security deposit policy would be greatly appreciated.
