They can't be booked into F, but there is A available so let me call over to ticketing to get this done." She then came back and said it was all fixed and there should be no further issues.
So as I understand it, you didn't fly at all? I hope you can recall the approximate time you made that call to the Plat line. Might help if you want to pursue the matter with DL.
