I agree and I would not be a happy flyer if they took one of our bags away and out of our sight at a security checkpoint. I definitely would call for a supervisor if it happened to us. Terminal B in SAT is pretty open and I'm no too sure where or if they could take a bag easily out if sight. Terminal A security is a whole different situation and usually a bit of a zoo. Luckily we typically flight AA out of SAT so rarely go through Terminal A.
