I recently had an amazing trip London and flew on the Qantas A380.
My favourite experience was the tasting menu which is quite unique to Qantas from it's chef Neil Perry
One of my favourite dishes on-board was the Pan fried blue eye with spiced eggplant gai-lan-and ginger-glaze - draws inspiration from Neil's Spice Temple.
Once in London, the afternoon tea at the Exec Lounge in the Hilton Park Lane was a highlight... amazing selection (which is probably better than any other of the Hilton hotel chains)
The final highlight was the BA First Galleries Lounge in T3. There is a Dining Room which offered amazing restaurant style cuisine. Traditional roast with veggies was on the cards - probably some of the best lounge food I have had.
The highlight of the flight back would have to be the Moroccan Lamb Pot Pie and an Asian Consomme - which proved to be a lovely supper.
