Buying in bulk is a very common thing to do here due to rampant inflation. We currently have about 30 litres of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 20 kilos of coffee beans, 50 litres of mineral water and about 100 toilet and kitchen rolls stashed in the garden room.
I only wish I'd bought more bars of Cadburys chocolate when they were selling them for 18 pesos as they are now priced at 38.
